Your Data Lives on Your Device
GlucoPlot is a local-first app. All your wellness data — meals, nutrition, glucose readings, sleep, activity, workouts, and water intake — is stored only on your device. We do not store any of your personal wellness data on our servers.
How to Delete Your Data
Simply delete the GlucoPlot app from your device. All your local data will be permanently removed. No further action is needed.
- iOS: Long-press the app icon → Remove App → Delete App.
- Android: Long-press the app icon → Uninstall. You can also clear stored data first via Settings > Apps > GlucoPlot > Storage > Clear Data.
What About Server Data?
The only data associated with your use of the app on our servers is an anonymous device identifier used for rate limiting AI features (meal analysis, barcode lookup, and similar). This identifier:
- Is not linked to your name, email, or any personal information
- Is used solely to enforce fair daily usage limits on AI features and to prevent abuse
- May be retained on a persistent basis for abuse prevention, and usage records are automatically cleared after a period of inactivity
We also use Google Firebase for pseudonymous usage analytics and crash reporting — not your name, email, or the contents of your logs. You can turn usage analytics off in Settings → Privacy, and uninstalling the app stops all further collection. See the Privacy Policy for details.
